restore a PI B

Tue Jun 30, 2015 7:08 pm

Hello, I have two pi's & two sd cards, PI (A) will work with both cards, it mite have a few things like turn off then restart. This happins when I first plug it in but not all the time.

PI (B) will work with one of the cards for the most part, it takes a few min to get things going but the other card locks up just a few min after start-up if it makes it past that it will lock up when you try to open a TV show or movie.

When were the cards first built? Have you updated the "boot code"? What models of RPi are you using?

Are the SDCard holders damaged? Are the cards bent? Have you tried a clothes peg (aka clothes pin) to hold the card in place?

What software are you using when you
try to open a TV show or movie.
Is it up to date?
