RPi 1 A+ robot and opencv

I have built a robot based on a magazine design (my first learn as I go project). I used a RPi 1 A+.
It is mobile, has pan & tilt with ultrasonic & PiCam attached & uses the following kernel https://github.com/Boeeerb/LinuxUser/rew/master/servod.

My Question is, is it possible to install opencv and have face recognition/following with the memory on the A+. Also where can I find a step by step guide if it is possible.
