Supply voltage to the WiFi adaptor dropping when the adaptor tries to fully power up - adaptor stops working completely and appears to the RPi that it has been unplugged?

Ok, thanks!
Strange that the device was working for quite some time and then suddenly this.
Is there anytging i can do about it?
More power in the mains adapter or use a USB hub with powersupply?

My previous reply was only a suggestion. I cannot say that lack of power is definitely the cause.
