Servo's and the raspberry pi

Mon May 20, 2013 3:39 pm

I am looking to build a robot with my Raspberry Pi but I am not sure how many servos the Raspberry Pi can control. I need a hardware that can control up to 5 servos and I can program it to allow my robot to do certain things. Is it possible to use a raspberry Pi to control servos instead of a normal servo controller? If not can you recommend a servo controller for me. Thank you. :D
