Les Numeriques have just received their Pi and are starting playing with it. They are THE reference consumer electronics site in France, they test oodles of TVs, Phones, Tablets, Cameras, ... They are not very active in desktop PCs, a fair bit more in laptops. I know I don't buy anything without checking with them first, and sometimes only with them.
They had 3 millions unique visitors in June (about 1/13th of Google, 1/10th of FaceBook: http://www.lesnumeriques.com/divers/aud ... 25066.html
, http://www.journaldunet.com/ebusiness/l ... 0612.shtml
). Funny how the VLC site (which comes from a French engineering school) does 3x that ^^ Competition would be Clubic (less elitist ?), Tom's Hardware France (more old-style DIY PC types), and Blogee.net (started as a netbook resource, evolved towards tablets, phones and HTPC)

. No review yet, just a heads up they've got it.
Much less well-known english version: Digital Versus, http://www.digitalversus.com/
PS: Where else would the Pi be compared to a pack of cigarettes, not a credit card ?
