http://www.zdnet.co.uk/blogs/from-both- ... -10026180/ and http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/articles/34126 ... dows-7.htm <- "Why post about thin clients, Liz? We all know about them and we all hate Windows" was the message we got from the comments under the post I put up yesterday. This sort of press is why, you lovely, superior tech goblins, you.

http://www.pcauthority.com.au/News/3010 ... rives.aspx <- Lots of news from Australia today, where RS have been doing a big media push. These guys have a god-awful carpet.

About to jump into a car for the airport (AGAIN), but before I go, here's a video review from Wired's Gadget Lab Show. We met Roberto on Friday; he's brilliant, and he has big plans for his Raspberry Pi (which he is going to be writing about, so watch this space).

Eric Schmidt from Google is funding 100 recent graduates through a six-week training course and giving them a Raspberry Pi - before sending them into schools to teach

They are Teach First graduates. They get a 6 week intensive training course into teaching after coming out of undergrad with a good degree. They then get sent into a school for a year to work and if they (a) survive and (b) still like it they get an accelerated career.

Good luck to them, I'd like to meet some of them.

Mi Pi has finally arrived!

I have posted a first contact (in Spanish) in my blog:

http://nachocabanes.blogspot.com.es/201 ... -real.html

and I would like to follow up soon (in a couple of days, hopefully) with information for Spanish-speaking users (keyboard configuration and so on), focusing on users who are learning computer programming.

BTW, feel free to contact me in you need to translate anything to Spanish or to interpret any Spanish text.

The Raspberry Pi is perhaps best thought of as a pile of Lego bricks waiting to be turned into something amazing.
