i'm using a 34" 1440p monitor but according to my "xrandr -q", i'm stuck on 1824 x 984 resolution. Here's the output:

xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default
Screen 0: minimum 1824 x 984, current 1824 x 984, maximum 1824 x 984
default connected primary 1824x984+0+0 0mm x 0mm
1824x984 0.00*

in the kubuntu settings i have no option to change my resolution, it just states my resolution without a way to change it. What can i do? thank you.
