Can we get Ubuntu 19.10 to show up in our Raspberry Pi recovery mode so we can install it through n00bs?

If the Operating System can be run on your RPi it can, in principle, be added to your copy of the NOOBS Installer. Note the recent thread documenting difficulties running this OS on an RPi 4 board. Ref: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/view ... 9#p1553547

I did have a quick go at converting this for PINN, but it uses UBOOT, so it needs a little more massaging to work. And given the issues mentioned above, I decided to leave it a while until it is more proven.

Ive extracted boot and root folders onto the empty project spaces, I wonder if anyone has had it running yet with pinn/noobs

Go with the alternative bootloader of replacing UBOOT with the standard Raspberry pi bootloader (Uboot does not like to live on other partitions).

Ubuntu 19.10 uses partition labels to mount its partitions, rather than PARTUUIDs or /dev/xxx. This means you can only install 1 copy of the OS on your target drive.

If you manage to convert it I'll be glad to host it.
