7" Touchscreen AND HDMI

Mon May 09, 2016 6:02 pm

Hello friends!

I need some help! I am currently using the 7" touchscreen display for my Raspberry Pi 3. I am having a lot of fun creating a handheld retro emulator. However, I want to be able to use the HDMI as well as the screen. So I'll be able to use the device as a handheld (fun on the run :-) , but if I desire, I'd like it to be used as a retro console as well (hook it up to the TV via HTML and plug in a couple of controllers).

It looks like now that I've attached the screen, the HDMI output doesn't work. I know I may be wishing, but it would be nice to be able to use the HDMI cable without having to go back and reset HDMI as the default every time.

Any ideas? Apologies if someone already explained this. :-/

Enjoy the day!
