[Q] piDisplay and 3.2 inch combo

Fri Jan 08, 2016 12:52 am

First congratz on the nice work with the display. To bad its nowhere to be bought. Hoping that it will be in stock soon.

And when the day comes, it could be pretty cool :
To have the piDisplay as the main monitor. And the small TFT as a simple secondary monitor. And here is the twist. Use the small monitor as a "normal" touchpad, on the main monitor.

What do you think, and is it possible at all?

rPI 2 with piDisplay or a normal HDMI display.
The adafruit 3.2 inch TFT touch screen, connected to the SPI port.
Best regards

Hey Chris

I don't have an answer I'm afraid, but I'm looking to do something similar - using the 7" touchscreen to control video shown on a monitor. Was wondering if you got any further with this?
