Dimensions of touchscreen without bezel?

Sun Aug 11, 2019 9:35 am

Hi folks,

Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the official touchscreen with the bezel removed?

Also, I presume it is easy enough to remove?

Thanks in advance

What is the bezel from your POV?

Thanks @fruitoftheloom - I had actually come across that drawing but somehow didn't notice that it gave the dimensions of the panel also.

I presume the bezel comes off easily enough? To answer @aBUGSworstnightmare - what I am referring to is the black plastic surround that defines the viewing area.

It isn't a plastic bezel. That black surround is on the reverse of the front glass which also has the capacitive touch layer on it. The actual LCD + backlight is sandwiched between that glass and the metal frame on the back.
