MagPi Article Index

Sat Jun 30, 2018 1:20 pm

I've read some old posts somewhere asking about an article database or catalog. I've looked at the old PDF files and the only way to deal with them is to re-key the article metadata. I've entered title, standfirst, section, and starting page number for articles in issues 42 through 71 to get the ball rolling. However, I need a place to display these metadata where they can be worked on by others to correct errors, especially typos. Then once they have been reviewed, it would be a simple matter to parse them with perl, python, or whatever and load them into whatever format or database desired.

Does the forum here have a Wiki or Etherpad-run-alike which can be used to crowd source quality control of a list of The MagPi articles?

You could put it into a public Dropbox folder if nothing comes up.

If all editors have a Microsoft account the online editing should work https://www.dropbox.com/help/files-fold ... -documents
