Apparently its got to do with changing ownership using those octal
numbers. This is done by using chmod XXX filename where XXX refer
to the octal numbers spoken about in the article.
This statement is incorrect. Android Things only supports the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. It will not run on a Raspberry Pi 2.Unfortunately, Android Things does not support the Pi Zero – it requires a bit more power than the board can currently provide, so you’ll need at least a Raspberry Pi 2 to run Android Things on, but preferably a Pi 3
