I am currently using Window 8 and want to upgrade it to Window 10 but I had heard it from someone that after installing Window 10 in the system it starts giving problems and, getting hang all the time. Please share with me your opinions, thought it will be a great help for me

Windows 8 does not natively run on the Raspberry Pi or Compute Module

I expect he means running the development system to write code for win10IOT on the RPI.

I dont (want to) use it, so I cannot say if it will run better on windows8 than on windows10.

You need Windows 10 Desktop to be able to create a development environment for Windows 10 IoT Core, as Windows 8.x is end of life:
