NOOBS wont install Windows IoT Core

Mon Apr 30, 2018 5:00 am

Hi

I'm trying to install windows IoT core in my Raspberry Pi 3 Model b but it keeps coming up with a notice saying "this version of NOOBS does not currently support automated installation of windows 10 IoT core". Then says to visit a website and that doesn't say anything on getting windows either. The website is http://aka.ms/windowsonrpi and it is just on IoT core dashboard so it is not any use to me. Also I'm using a mac for all of this so it is even harder.
Has anyone got any advise for me or a solution to fix this problem?
Thanks
Seb

From what I gather, you can download an ISO from here: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/w ... /Downloads

It's not clear what that ISO does. Perhaps it's just an image you can flash to a card and boot on a Pi.

You're best off asking MS themselves. Their site doesn't make it easy to find useful information.

Do not use NoobS, on your Windows 10 PC install the "Dashboard" from the link posted above.

You will need a W10 PC to develop and deploy as W10IOT is not a Desktop Operating System.
