You write the application using Visual Studio running on a Windows 10 PC, then deploy it to the RPi over network. See: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/window ... deployment

I have connected led with current limit resistor with pi. I want to turn on/off one led from any PC via web.

Is it possible with vs2017.? I think I have to write code on window PC then deploy on PI, Is it what I need ?

Go here: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/w ... getstarted follow the tutorial pieces for Raspberry Pi on there. You use VS2017 on Windows 10 (on your laptop) to deploy programs in python or C# or C/C++ on your Raspberry Pi running the cut-down Win10 IoT Core (which is NOT in any way like Win10 on a PC).

NOTE: Win10 IoT is still not supported on RPi3B+ hardware.

You need to write C# code on an extra computer to deploy it onto the Pi.
You can NOT write C# programs on a Pi running Windows 10 IoT Core itself.

That's what I wanted to confirm, I think I got it but not sure. lets suppose I have one PI installed on windows 10 iot core and I have four windows PC. If I am using one of of them to write #c code then my question is that can I use remaining window PC to control device. I want to control the device from any(four windows) PC's

I think I got it but not sure. lets suppose...

I've got a crazy suggestion...

Why not try it for yourself? It won't cost you anything apart from a little of your time, you will know you can rely on the outcome, and win or lose you will gain a lot of practical experience.

That's a more succinct way of saying what I was trying to get across. Get the baby steps done with the Microsoft tutorial. Once that works you'll know your way round VS2017 and the deployment to your Raspberry and you own first project will be a billion times easier. I think that's why they have tutorial, example programs that do banal things like winking an LED.

OK. We have two distinct problems here:

1) How do you develop a program on a Win 10 PC to run on Windows IoT on a Pi?

2) How to communicate with that program, when it's completed, from other PCs?

I guess the tutorials and such linked to above get you started with 1).

For 2) we need more information: How do you want to communicate to the Pi from those other PC? A web interface? Other?

I cannot advise. I would not use Win IoT or C# for such a task.

Third Problem.
English is not the first language?
What languages do you speak, someone may be able to speak it.
