I'm sorry to tell you but There is no way at all to run a windows executable acceptably on a PI, well you could run an x86 emulator, and run WINE on top of that, but that really isn't practical.
the "latest" windows software that runs emulated at somewhat reasonable speed is windows95, but it takes half an hour to boot it.
There is commercial x86 emulator software with which you can run Debian x86 on a PI, (very slowly), and it runs WINE, and can start *some* windows apps, but not many, very slowly. if you are desperate enough.
you will be MUCH better off running programs compiled for Raspbian Linux (Raspbian runs ARM code).
Well, at this point, I am willing to try anything. It doesn't really matter how long it takes to boot. Once it is up and running, it would continue to run, day in and day out. All I need it to do, is to run a single (Linux) executable file, a cryptocurrency wallet. The wallet is for a POS coin, for staking coins. The application only has to be connected to the network in order to perform this function. The blockchain does the rest.
I want to remove the (windows) wallet application / software from my desktop. The RPi2 would take only a few resources, by comparison, to run continuously.
If I cannot get the RPi2 to work, I will just buy a laptop to serve this function, I suppose.

No it wasn't sorted, because you talked about reading a SINGLE sticky....
I did read the sticky post, singular. It was the one that stated to read before posting in this forum.

That wasn't one of the stickies I was talking about, you were talking about the announcement.
That, I did. I read
the single sticky that stated to "read prior to posting in this forum". Perhaps, you being a moderator, may consider renaming the other sticky threads to read similarly. Sound like a plan? Maybe? Maybe not? Up to you, sir.
