Build 14393 available

Mon Aug 01, 2016 4:24 pm

My RPi3 updated automatically to Build 14393. This seems to restore the Device Portal functions such as the Apps and Processes tabs that were broken in Build 14376.

I am still experiencing some trouble with the DMAP driver and the Lightning library, https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/w ... /lightning. Some GPIO seem to refuse to update their state during execution even though my code is unchanged between the standard (100% working) and DMAP driver tests.

Looks like Build 14393 and the RPi3 is no longer in "Insider Preview" status. The latest Windows 10 IoT Core Dashboard allows you to select and build the SD card with Build 14393 for the RPi2/RPi3 without logging in to an Insider Preview enabled Microsoft account.

The release notes are confusing "" the Raspberry PI2 based on the ARM Cortex-A7 based SoC (also referred to as the RPI) ""

I agree the notes are sloppy, but the Pi 3 is referenced on the page.

The Dashboard app serves up Build 14393 for the Pi 2 & 3.

The whats news page for the anniversary edition specifically mentions the Pi3 support.
