Hello,
Is PI3 able to host Windows 10 ?
How can we get it ?
Is there a fee to be paid to Microsoft ?
I saw the Windows 10 loT for insiders, i downloaded it but i don't know what to do after... Is it a real Windows 10 ?
Regards,
Bernard

The Raspberry Pi 3, just like the RPi2 runs the special build Window 10 Internet of Things build. That is NOT a full scale Windows, it's not Windows RT. It WILL NOT run normal Windows stuff like Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
One striking reason for that is that regular Windows is built for X86_64 processors, your RPi has an ARM6, ARM7 or ARM7 64-bit processor.
The IoT stuff is free for developers for non-commercial use.

Ok, thank for the clarification.
As i have downloaded it on my SD card bought with NOOBS and the standard Rapsbian, is it possible to install this new OS on this SD card as a double boot ? ie, by keeping the current Rapsbian ?
And more generally if i want to test different Linux for Pi3, like Ubuntu Mate, is it possible to have them on this same SD card or should i dedicate an SD card for each OS to be tested ?
And the best and easy answer could be a link to a tuto showing how to do...
Thanks a lot, and sorry for these questions coming from a newbie in Linux world.... (not so easy...)...

Ok, so better to have another SD card on which i could install other OS to be tested.
But regarding the SD with NOOBS, when i booted for first time, there was no network connection, neither wired or wifi, but an OS has been installed and started without any action or choice from me.
So, the Rapsbian should be embeded on the SD card i guess.
Thanks a lot,
Bernard

IMO and it is only MO, Windows 10 IoT Core is better installed Standalone following the links on the MS WebSite which requires one has a machine with Windows 10 Desktop Edition installed..
NOOBS / Raspbian / others OSes have been widely discussed so will not re-hash
