Raspberry Pi not booting with Windows 10 IoT core

Sat Aug 15, 2015 6:01 pm

Today I installed Windows 10 IoT core on my Rasberry PI B+ v1.2. It is not booting up. I tried 32, 16 and 8 GB SD cards; Not working. Both 32 and 16 GB cards are class 10, 8 GB I am not sure. While connecting, Green LED blinks twice and shows the Debug splash screen when booting Pi. I have used the WindowsToImageHelper utility. I am running the command from Windows 10 OS. Both NOOBS and RISC OS distributions are working on the SD cards without any issue. I tried the boot_delay=1 in config.txt but not worked

Please help.

Exact same issue here.
Pi2B+,
- Followed every single thing as per http://ms-iot.github.io/content/en-US/w ... pPCRPI.htm
- Formatted the *GB SDCard with SD Formatter as per
viewtopic.php?f=91&t=83372&p=651745#p677748 (#18), just in case

Oh, and "flash indicator" when powered on is:
- Red "on", solid, never flickers/flashes.
- Green flashes twice, then stays on, solid.

No keyboard, mouse or ethernet activation either.

Any advise, wisdom, suggestions or the like would be greatly appreciated.

Issue I faced is I tried it on RPI 1 not RPI2. When I changed to RPI2 it worked for me.

ROFL yes on the MS website it states Raspberry Pi 2 (which has an ARMv7 CPU)

Update:
I just took our techie's word for it.
Upon closer inspection, the Pi I'm trying to W10IoT with is a Pi B+ V2.1, and not the Pi2 B V1.2 as required for W10IoT.

As others have said, Window 10 IoT Core (nothing like desktop Windows) only works on version 2 of the Pi. The one with the larger CPU (with the Broadcom logo on) and the RAM underneath. It can be tough to tell the different versions apart so I've written an easy identification guide. I've also posted about how to install Window 10 IoT Core if you have a version 2 Pi.
