Power button on IoT

Sat Jun 27, 2015 12:21 pm

I booted the system read what I saw, then tried to power down. But the power button on the top right is non functional as if it is disabled. (grayed out)
What is the correct method to shut down the OS?

PowerShell - Shutdown/restart device:

To shut down your device, type shutdown /s /t 0. To restart the device, use the /r switch instead with the command shutdown /r /t 0.

So that "button" on the top right is not a power button?

Thanks!

It is a powerbutton, but it is currently disabled.

In addition to using the shutdown command, you can also control the device power state using the 'WebB' interface.

Note that it has now changed so it defaults to port 8080, so to access it use:
http://<ip address>:8080

I hope this helps.
