Retrieve Raspberry Pi 2 Serial in Windows Universal App

Hey guys,

the title almost says everything: I was wondering how I can get / retrieve the Serial number of the Raspberry Pi 2, similar to the /cpuinfo using Python, Bash, etc. on Unixoid-based Pi's.

Has someone making experience with it, knows something or have an idea?

Unfortunately it didn't work in Windows Metro Apps, because they was sandboxed. Only runtime apps could get hardware information. But maybe you have luck on IoT devices. Check this documentation: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/librar ... token.aspx
