Are you sure that Model B+ can work with image from: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/w ... getstarted

You could try the latest Insider Preview version 17133:

There's a workaround to get the RPi 3 B+ to boot Windows 10 IoT. The wifi seems to not have any drivers yet, but bluetooth dongles still work. Link below:

I tried to run it on RPi3B+. Nothing comes up. Also, the insider preview version does not work.
I tried to do the workout link (https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forum ... WindowsIoT), but, it is confusing and doesn't worth it.

We may need to get RPi 3 (non +) or wait 3 months.

Hi,

I just jumped into raspberry Pi, been coding in C#, was bummed to find out IoT wasn't supported for the 3B+.

If you scroll to the bottom:
[There will be a public preview for Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ soon
if nothing unforeseen occurs may be later this month

Have you tried the latest Insider Preview Release ??

The release notes rarely keep up, currently version 17761

No, I’ll be honest, I’m a complete newb. I’m hoping the release they talk about is newb friendly?

I did try to get it to work in the end of april, just following the Microsoft guide for starting out, and it didn’t work.

Took me about 2-3 weeks to figure out that IoT wasn’t supported yet. I have not tried to get it working using the workarounds posted in a couple of those topics.

Is the insider preview something I should look at?

The Insider Preview is basically a Testing Branch, you will need a Microsoft Account !
