Sense hat casing?

While looking to do the Sense hat weather project, I began to wonder over a few things.

First is power. Some recharge sells, converter and a solar panel would solve that. It would take some time but in the long run it can be done. Also making this work as a outside web page type of sensor as well. This is a plan I am concocting in order to build later on. But this got me thinking. Weather stations lave a louvre panel to get the instruments away from shade but also keep it cool enough for it to take measurements which is known as a Stephenson box. These are the white painted boxes you see on TV back in the day.

Does the Pi have this type of box for the sense hat? A case that can house a few batteries along with a converter and solar panel as a add on to build up the project. Would this be a project worth considering as a outside data logging Pi or an inside temperature and barometric type of weather station?
