Astro-pi sense hat and Raspberry Pi 3

Hi there,

says
"The Raspberry Pi has been designed specifically with add-on boards in mind. A HAT (hardware attached on top) is an add-on board for Raspberry Pi models A+, B+ or 2B. "

Will it work on my Raspberry Pi model 3 as well? Is there any reason why model 3 is not mentioned??

The Astro Pi Sense HAT does work on the Pi3.
The webpage was probably written before the Pi3 was released

I have mine on a 3B running the latest Raspbian Pixel. No issues that I am aware of.
