extend camera cable slot on sense hat

For convenience in removing the sense hat, would it be safe to extend that camera-cable slot over to the board edge? Then I wouldn't need to unplug and re-attach the camera, which is a bit of a delicate operation.

I think you could do that with a few precautions. The slot is just there for convince, doesn't mean you have to use it. The cable is insulated so nothing is going to short out. Just be mindful of the contacts on the bottom side of the sense hat. If there are any sharp points they could chafe on the camera cable if its touching the underside of the board. Stick a piece or two of electrical tap on the side of the camera cable and it should be fine. I wouldn't bend it to sharp and kink it either.
