Hi folks, I just thought you might like to know that Astro Pi was nominated for a Sir Arthur Clarke award (we found out last Friday). These recognise individuals and teams that have made notable or outstanding achievements in, or contributions to, any kind of space activity. Also known as ‘The Arthurs’, they have been presented annually since 2005.
We were up for the Space Achievement - Education and Outreach award.
The nominees were:
gala dinner at St George's Hall in Liverpool for it which took place last night. The ESA Rosetta team quite rightly won but we were just amazed and excited to have been nominated at all. Considering the 10 years worth of work that went into the Rosetta mission we think they're infinitely more deserving of the award. Congratulations folks!
We're not even in space yet!
