Setup help

Tue Jun 30, 2015 8:01 am

I am have difficulties in getting the astroPi drivers/software to work.
I've used:

Code: Select all

wget -O - http://www.raspberrypi.org/files/astro-pi/astro-pi-install.sh --no-check-certificate | bash
To install it several times on clean Raspbian that I have expanded the partition on, chosen the localisation settings, turned on the camera support and rebooted, but everytime it looks like it works, asks me to reboot but doesn't turn off the LED matrix on reboot. Running the example programs does things.
I am not sure what is wrong, i have the logs if they are helpful.
I am using a Model B Pi.

I've seen this once or twice at a school when the sense HAT was not properly connected. I just needed to push it down a bit more and then a reboot fixed it. The only other thing I can think of is that you're using an old image of Raspbian that doesn't support device tree.

Can I suggest you re-download the latest Raspbian from our Downloads page as opposed to holding down shift during boot to reinstall Raspbian?
