Controlling a Sphero using Astro-Pi

I wrote some Python to control and steer a Sphero http://www.gosphero.com/sphero/ using the accelerometer on the Astro-Pi.





Most of the heavy lifting is done by the Astro-Pi and Sphero Python modules, so I think this would be a good robotics project for KS2.

Hi,

How did you manage to get your Sphero to connect? I have a RPi 3, with built in Bluetooth, and I cannot get my Sphero connected . I have tried through the GUI and using bluetoothctl.

My Pi is running Raspbian Jessie and I have updated all packages.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am having the same issue with my Pi III. I've been looking for an answer for a while. I've also tried a few things and can't seem to get it to connect. It says it is connected, but really isn't. It also never asks me for a pair code, but that may be fine.
