Cheapest Touchscreen I found was 80$. (7")
I got a small 2,4" Keychain Display for 3€ and can use it with lcd4linux to display status :)

Heh... If the touchscreen interface talks via USB, they choose Linux as an OS, and there's Linux support for the touchscreen, the answer would be "yes".
