... posting details nobody will know (at least I will not google4you). If that's the case https://www.adafruit.com/product/1580 should do. Regarding LVDS you need to build/buy an adapter board (which either converts DPI or HDMI to LVDS). I've used my LVDS4Pi with AUO G084SN04 already.

... is to see if it can be done that way,if the design is o.k. for DSI and CSI signals and I2S. Main goal for me is having single- or dual-channel LVDS (with both typical mappings) from a single board - which nearly needs no extra wiring.

Re: 8.4 inch TFT LCD touch panel model G084SN02 interface

Per datasheet - the interface is LVDS, now the question is how to build "normal software for it.
Perhaps Mrs Google will help?
Good luck with the project.

Re: LCD screen that i disasembled from a tabled

Based on info from Panelook - http://www.panelook.com/modeldetail.php?id=19717 - the display has single channel LVDS interface. You need some glue logic if you want to connect it to your Pi. Easiest solution is a suitable AD-board which connects to HDMI, more advanced is DIY (search ...

Re: Salvage LCD from portable DVD Pi3

How do you know your TFT has a LVDS interface without having the spec?

Most likely it's RGB (DPI; 18- or 24-bit) ... Anyhow, the timing needs to be correct for both interface types. So you will either need the spec or tons of time to figure it out

Re: Support for RGB 18 bit colour over HDMI

So you must have an HDMI to LVDS converter in order to be able to connect this screen. That would be the normal place to do this sort of correction. Trying to generate a very strange HDMI signal is rather counter-intuitive.

Re: Support for RGB 18 bit colour over HDMI

18 bit screens will keep data from LVDS channels DATA0, DATA1 and DATA2 and will discard data from LVDS channel DATA3. The problem is in the VESA data mapping that is being used by the Raspberry Pi in this case has the MSBs (7 and 6) in LVDS ...

Support for RGB 18 bit colour over HDMI

We are using the HDMI out of a Raspberry Pi CM3 to drive an LCD screen.
The LCD screen has a LVDS interface and but only supports 6 bits of data per colour (18 bits total)
Is there a way for the Raspberry Pi to send a 18 bit HDMI signal rather than 24 bits?
