The DHT-22 is more accurate but costs more. I found the results from the 22 more stable than the 11 under test.

[SOLVED] DHT11/DHT22 showing incorrect humidity

Code: Select all

$ sudo ./Adafruit_DHT 11 25
Using pin #25
Data (40): 0x27 0x0 0x16 0x0 0x3d
Temp = 22 *C, Hum = 50 %
do I need to calibrate it?

That's some sample code that uses the Google Docs API.

DHT22 (AM2301)

Re: DS1820 read from GPIO22

I think the DHT22 doesn't use the one-wire bus protocol which the DS18B20 requires. The standard one-wire driver only works on gpio4.

It is easier to change the code that drives the DHT22 to use a different pin.

DS1820 read from GPIO22

Hi,
I have a problem. I am already connected DHT22 senzor to gpio4. Now I am trying to connect DS1820 sensor to GPIO22 pin. Is it possible?
I am smashing my head with this problem.

Thanks

Re: DHT22 humidity sensor stops working

I have not used these with the raspi yet, but have about 6 going on Arduino and Pic processors reliably. They are used as remote Temp/humidity sensors for my wireless weather station and I have been happy with them. They do take a while to adjust to changes and while not as accurate as the SHT11 the...

Re: DHT22 humidity sensor stops working

Nothing but problems with this sensor, I tried everything here, both the prewired and unwired hang the GPIO port, and once it hung, must be completely powered off. The hang is in the BCM library on the wait, upgraded to the latest version of that library, v.33 and no change. Will try the Arduino, bu...

So that's an exact copy of the code in git://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit-Raspberry-Pi-Python-Code.git that you've simply updated with your Googledocs ID. The regex matches = re.search("Temp =\s+([0-9.]+)", output) won't match a negative temp. If we change it to: matches = re.search("Temp...

Re: Is my DHT22 dead? or just my brain?

Basically, how the code works is: Step 1: First it sets the pin low and then waits a few microseconds. Step 2: Set the pin high. This signals the DHT22 to begin reporting its information. Step 3: The DHT22 will respond by setting it low and then high to let the pi know that it caught the signal ...
