Maximum specified resolution is 1920x1080 @ 60Hz, so 2560x1440 @ 50Hz is almost 50% more pixels being processed a second and likely to fail (the composition hardware block is unlikely to be able to retrieve all the pixels from SDRAM in realtime, and ...

Hi, I have a 6 inch display with a resolution of 2560x1440 and mini-HDMI input.

I've tried many different settings on config.txt but I just can't get any image.
Even tried with Arch linux and Raspbian Jessie Desktop and Lite.

Anyone has a solution for me?

Up to 2560x1600, but 2560x1440 is not listed at all... so it may be not so simple...

I would like to buy a 6'' HDMI display that has 2560x1440, it won't be cheap, so I need to know for sure if it's supported or not.
