Re: Customer products based on Raspberry Pi

1) Not sure exactly what you mean by this, but the general rule is that anything on the board itself is very difficult to move around (and almost impossible for the processor.) However, you can easily buy USB peripherals and HDMI cables separately. 2) I don't know myself, but you could email Liz (li...

Re: raspbmc and internet browser

Raspbmc has an internet browser, however your streaming service will almost certainly use flash, which isn't compatible with the pi. This means unless wuaki TV has an app for xbmc, it is unlikely you'll be able to use it on the pi. Sorry :( .

Re: changing url of raspberry pi

Yes, you need to use a port forwarding service, such as no IP ( http://www.noip.com ). Note: this makes your site public on the web. Then you can have an address like http://www.myname.no-ip.org . To get rid of the no-ip bit, or an alternative, (I.e. just have .com or .org etc ) you need to pay for ...

Re: Help for sending Images from Raspberry Pi to Windows PC

If you switch on ssh in raspi-config, you can install WinSCP on your PC and access all your Pi's files. Alternatively, you can set up your pi as a web server, as instructed at http://www.penguintutor.com/linux/raspberrypi-webserver ( you don't need to make it available on the internet, so ignore tha...

Re: Won't switch on

Did you shut down your pi with sudo shutdown -h now/ sudo halt / the desktop icon, or did you just unplug the power. If you just unplugged your pi, you may have corrupted your SD card. I would recommend reformatting your SD card if this is the case, and always shutdown properly.

Re: Browsing websites with the Pi

The Raspberry Pi can't play a large number of webpages with video as Flash Player won't run on it's ARM processor.

Re: Wifi adapter

Your Wi-Fi adapter isn't on the list of verified peripherals, so may not be compatible. However, it's worth a try :) ! You could use the following tutorial: http://learn.adafruit.com/adafruits-ras ... cidentalis .

Re: how I can setup a delay for audio output?

I mean regardless of the software use. I jz wanna delay the sound about 1 second which come out from the speaker.
Do you know which files in the system of Raspberry Pi can do it?
Thanks
I think Redhawk meant which operating system are you using (e.g. Raspbian, Raspbmc) ?

You can access your pi's files with SSH, using WinSCP on your PC.

Re: Introduce yourself!

I'm Thomas. I started programming around 5 years ago with Scratch. Since programming in BASIC for Windows for a few years in secondary school, I have become interested in the in the Pi's (and Python's) applications in electronic projects and web development. I am amazed at how simple it is to do fai...

Re: Controlling the Pi from a phone/pc far away?

There is a forum post here on the topic, http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=50607&p=394325 , but personally I tried it yesterday and its a bit of a faff :? ! Even though there aren't too many steps, a lot of the programs seem to require other programs and extensions. Instead, I u...

Re: Door sensor / alarm

This may not be what you are looking for, but as an early electronics project I made a pressure pad attached to the Pi. It wasn't very difficult at all electronics wise, I just had a plastic box lid which pushed down a DVD case when stepped on :D . The DVD just rested on a push button. It used just ...
