Re: Has anyone actually received a board yet?

Everyone is waiting.

Why:

Super early people (i.e. Batch 1) got delayed by Ethernet jack problem

"Normal" people are still waiting for production of Batch 2 (aka Batch ?) to start

<r>So, there's this program called synergy which is basically a program that allows you to share a host computer's keyboard and mouse over the network. Newark April 3. I am content. Not too long to wait, but a few (maybe 2% of) community members will have boards before me so that they'll be able to help if I need any assistance.

My original ship date was April 3, then it pushed out May 24, but now it's back at a nice (actually really exciting) April 3. I'm hoping the April 3 is legit.

I don't think any of them will have GUIs for editing... I assume it will be expected that people edit in pico, or vim, or emacs.

Re: An BUS powered USB Hub (rather than external power supply)

<t>So basically, I just have quick question. Could I use a USB Hub that doesn't have its own power supply, if only used it to make 1 port into 2 (for use with keyboard and mouse)? Together, my keyboard and mouse use ~160 ma so that shouldn't be too much for a single port to handle, right? Raspberry ...

Re: smart web tv with rasberry pi anyone?

<t>Attaching the Raspberry Pi is easy. Once connected, with a bluetooth dongle, you can experiment with a number of control options like wireless keyboards, mice, remotes, touchpads, and even use a WiiMote (although for the WiiMote, drivers still have to be ported.) For software, XBMC or the likes o...

Re: So: what do you all think about the Model A news?

It seems good...the Model A is now much more appealing. I never needed the Ethernet (have USB WiFi, etc.) or second USB port (have hub, etc.) so saving 10 dollars but not sacrificing a big piece of performance is great. Will be what I buy for Pi #2.
