Re: Button Press LED

Hi yhckelvin, I modified your script in your first post. This script contains debounce code for your button(s). The button must be connected between GPIO25 and GND . It is easy to add more switches and modify the software. You will find more comments in the new script. Success with your project! #!/...

Re: Button Press LED

Hi,

There is only one place in your first post where you have to change your 'if GPIO.input' statement.

Re: Button Press LED

Code: Select all

if GPIO.input(26): # if port 25 == 1
You have to rewrite this instruction a little bit.

You have to test on button down:

Code: Select all

if GPIO.input(26) == 0 :
Success with your project.

Re: Thermocouple For Reading High Temp ( MAX 350°C)

Hi ciclonite, The output of a thermocouple is an analog voltage. So you have to convert the analog voltage into a digital value. A solution is given by Adafruit, i2c ads1115 16 bit adc 4 channel with programmable gain amplifier breakout board. https://www.adafruit.com/products/1085 The digital value...

Re: Pi sometimes shuts down while running my programs PLZ HE

Hi if SMTP_SERVER == "Gmail": SMTP_SERVER = "smtp.google.com" <-- smtp.gmail.com and SMTP_SERVER1 SMTP_PORT = 587 you renamed the content of SMTP_SERVER. I think that is not allowed in an if statement. It is better to use new variable such as SMTP_SERVER1. Check the other if statements too.

Hi,
Use the following command:
sudo ./your_program

The first line in your code must be:
#!/usr/bin/python otherwise sudo does not work.

If it does not work send your code.
