Thanks for the reply. I realized the typo and I got that taken care of. sudo ap-get install libdbus-dev-1

says that E: unable to locate package.
I have done sudo apt-get upgrade
I tried sudo apt-get update as well
but that does not list libdubus-dev-1
searched online for this but have not gotten anything for raspberry

I want to do this: 1) my original need is: be able to pause or rewind live tv from a source like hdhomerun I dont want to install xbmc or headends etc. Just a simple player with some simple gui is anything already availbale which allows this sort of operation or can be tweaked to get this ?
