Re: PS3 Controller and the PI

Bit of feedback.

Tried the above and it didn't work, worth a pop.

Re: PS3 Controller and the PI

Hi, I've previously tried to get the PS3 controller to work and failed miserably, being as it was a curiosity project I gave up. However I now need it to work for an actual project so will try again with brian9640's suggestion...... However I did come across this and thought it would be worth a pop ...

Re: USB Hub and back power

Hi, To a layman I would say for the majority of cases back power would be a benefit, if you have a weak main PSU it would top it up so to speak..... My hub back powers and I use it to actually power the Pi when I run out of plug sockets... I did read about issues with fuses on the early Pi's whereby...

Re: using a arduino uno to use arduino shields on rpi

Hi, Have you seen these, not the cheapest option but you have the option of running stand alone or through the pi. I've got one but must confess not got round to trying it yet, I've seen quite a nice joystick shield my first project was going to try and get that sorted wit PiMAME... http://www.cooco...

Suggestions On Starter Projects ?

Hi Guys, I got a RPi and load of accessories for my Birthday this year, so far I’ve just been getting my head around Raspian and how that works, been a long time since I got down and dirty with an OS.. Anyway fairly happy with that now I can find my way about well enough.... However I did say I had ...

Re: Super slow USB HDD after apt-get upgrade ?

Hi, Any new on this ? I tried a rpi-update over the weekend and basically everything USB went on the fritz, keyboard, mouse, Wi-Pi, I had loads of errors on boot and hangs after a reboot... Being a noob I didn’t know how to back out the changes, however I did have the foresight to take an image of m...

Re: All leds blinking

Hiya,

Mine sits on top at the moment, was thinking of getting a ribbon so I can go side by side though this seems more practical. Could it be interference from the Pi causing this then ?

Should have a bread board and lots of link wires coming tomorrow so can have a proper play. :P

Cheers.

Re: All leds blinking

My first mistake was I didnt read the instructions for setting up the board properly, I didnt set the power jumper or the jumpers for output, there are pics around for this if you are unsure.... Secondly when I did all this they all sti...
