Final Burn Alpha is there, but it loads roms directly from emulationstation, instead of using the ui via fbacapex.
You need to install python-imaging to use es_scraper. I will make a note and include it in the next release.

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install python-imaging

Re: Takenover83's builds of XBMC 12/13 for Raspbian

Try this. I had this source added to my sources for apt. I think it may have been pulling some of the dependencies from there. sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mene.list Paste in the line below in that file. deb http://archive.mene.za.net/raspbian wheezy contrib Then update apt sudo apt-get update ...

Yes, currently joystick and sdl (I think its also needed) is not compiled in. I also got errors when I tried to create a test build with it enabled. There are ways around it though. Making your controller act like a keyboard, etc via scripts.

Personally, I use a couple ps3 controllers. Both are knockoff's, neither being official Sony controllers. But work just fine.

Takenover83's builds of XBMC 12/13 for Raspbian

I have created some builds for UltraSlim . But you can install them on regular old Raspbian as long as you have the dependencies installed. I assume you do not have xbmc installed. Here is a list of the dependencies. I know there may be a couple I am missing here. Likely something to do with samba (...

Re: [11/25] UltraSlim = Retro + Gaming/Q3 + Media/XBMC + Des

1.5 is up. Please read the instructions. Sorry for the delay. This will likely be it for a bit unless something is majorly wrong. To get your PS3 controller working in xbmc, you would need to map it to keyboard. Likely something similar to this tutorial . The reason is because I believe joystick sup...

Re: [11/21] UltraSlim = Retro + Gaming/Q3 + Media/XBMC + Des

Yea, must be something with the new kernel update. I think its harmless though. Hiding boot messeges by switching it to terminal 3 had a effect of not allowing my font size change to take. Ive rolled back to a early November release for the n64 emulator, that works. 1.5 should be coming soon. It wou...

Yes. Might want to hold off till 1.5. I will leave a little free space this time around, and set raspi-config to only run on the very first boot. Might help with your problem.

Yes, just double checked. Extracted from both 7zip and zip, and checked again. Extracted 1.4.1 image = d619805650465608feb6d1d3157b3520 from 7zip/zip. Edit: did I post the wrong MD5 earlier... Yes, I did. the 1.4.1 image md5 I shared earlier is incorrect, as I had a couple edits to it I forgot about...

There is a possibility the image was not flashed correctly? I personally use win32diskimager to flash. Here are the MD5's.

Re: All in one game station + openelec booting question

You could do the following if you do not like Emulationstation running behind xbmc. Hit F4 to close out of emulationstation. That would put you at the terminal. Then type "xbmc-standalone" to load up xbmc. You could edit my xbmc script to have this done automagically. But when you close out of xbmc,...

Do not adjust any other settings as the file system has no space to save. #3: On boot #2, adjust any other setting you need to in raspi-config. Time-zone, local settings, etc.. and ...

That file is generated by emulationstation when you change any of the default settings. Not there by default. As I usually leave emulationstation settings alone, I did not have it. But you might find out more about it here.
