Re: Broken SD card socket repaired

RasPi requires an SD card to boot (not an USB SDcard reader).

There are other threads around giving different techniques on fixing the card socket. Gluing an MicroSD adapter into the socket also would work but personally I wouldn't want to be limited to MicroSD.

Have you tried just grabbing it directly from http://harmonygateway.com/repo/ZBPServe ... -0_arm.deb ?
Then sudo dpkg -i zbpserver_1.7-0_arm.deb

Re: Battery Pack + Alfa AWUS036H = No boot! (problem solved)

Eliminate the power supply as a possible problem to narrow down the issue. Hack up a usb cable to feed the Alfa power from a separate source. If you have a Y usb cable (extra plug for limited power ports) just tape over the the power pins on the data plug. Try adding a capacitor if its a power dip. ...

Just got a nice Hack a day plug.
Concerning the new P5 header on RasPi rev2, do you plain to allow pass through access?
I would much prefer to access P5 from above rather then from the bottom of the RasPi. Others people seem to prefer top as well.

Multiple licenses numbers can be added one after another in the config file. I believe a coma is just needed between each number. No spaces.

Great project! Auto-play on tv power on & web control (smartphone, ipad,pc) would also be nice for young children. I know some children who might like one. :D I would start with auto-play & simple start / stop then go for adding more like remote web control later. Breaking up goals is helps to keep ...

Nice use. Run into any problems with your setup?
RasPi hooked to a cell tower would make a nice picture for a Roaming RasPi series.

Liz & Eben mentioned elsewhere that the two USB port polyfuses would been removed completely. Before this rev some boards have shown up with polyfuses replaced with 0 ohm links.

It should be faster. The idea here is a Server Edition thats had its desktop removed. You control it by remote. No desktop, more resources available for other things.

Has everyone seen the other RasPi pentest distro, Raspberry Pwn ? I don't see reaver listed tho. Also heres another tiny pen testing drop box, Minipwner (openwrt based router). USB, wifi, very low power (energy), can run 5 hrs on a little battery, but its included tools are limited. Rpi: just got it...

I appreciate the updates on Model A since I'm also waiting for it.
I do wish there was a poll to count those who are waiting for Model A instead of buying Model B. Not suggesting taking "expression of interest" / reservation.
