Re: gpsd failing on boot, but starts manually

I have tried this but it does not work.
I have to issue
sudo gpsd /dev/ttyACM0 -F /var/run/gpsd.sock/
each start
and before the gps will.

The screen is known as a digitiser to confuse!

I have a capacitive waveshare which some members have multitouch working on.

Re: Retro RPi and IPAC2 2nd joystick

You need to check if the second joystick is sending the character codes (I think XKCD or something like that will tell you) and then you need to configure the emu program with the codes.

There is an ongoing issue with usb "thumb" drives being hacked and sold with fake sizes so it is no surprise to find fake sdcards.

The Trixes External Soundcard works out of the box with latest Rasbian, but causes a conflict with the waveshare 7" touchscreen.(unrealible sensing of contact with screen.)

Have you followed the instructions about editing config files for your display panel? The instruction should have been on the page you brought the display from, but if you missed it then the instructions are also on waveshares website. There is also a waveshare display discussion somewhere in the fo...

Looking for a small screen

I have a project idea (airsoft gun) and looking for a screen around the same size as the pi camera for a "live view" style viewfinder.

Re: How to use a IPAC

From my limited understanding,

The ipac only uses an "ordinary switch" without a resistor so any normally open switch/mech/button will work.
if you are thinking of dropping the ipac and using the i/o's instead then yes, you should use a resistor.
