Breadboards

Hi,

I purchased a small breadboard from Tandy, and it has blue tape on the back, which on peeling off keeps the pins in place.

I'm sure when I did electronics in my youth they were more sturdily built. Can anyone suggest ones with stronger construction?

Thanks

Re: no sound with MPD

Hi,

I think you need to use .pls files with MPD/MPC

For example:

Code: Select all

What is the current accepted way to install and configure PulseAudio? I'm using Raspian.

BBC Radio Streams

Hi,

I normally listen to BBC Radio 2 with MPlayer with the command:

Code: Select all

mplayer -playlist http:/bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r2.asx
can I use any other player such as OMXPlayer or MPC?

I'm using Raspian and am in the UK

Thanks

Re: Software Application Updates - Midori

Thanks, I would also like an updated version of Clementine player as the supplied version does not support Podcasts.

Software Application Updates - Midori

Hi,

I notice that Midori on Raspbian is at version 0.4.3, although the current version on the Midori website is 0.5.6-1

Is there anyway of getting updated versions of software, for instance compiling from source or is this complicated?

Thanks

Peter
