Hi, a friend of mine has a really nice development environment based on ArchLinux, so I thought I could give it a try with the 3B+. I almost installed everything, but I am facing some memory issue: [ 55.989445] [drm:vc4_bo_create [vc4]] *ERROR* Failed to allocate from CMA: [ 56.006893] [drm] kernel:...

Re: Kernel panic - not syncing : VFS: Unable to mount root f

I have the answer:
Kingston microSDHC 16 10 SDC10/16GB Doesn't work with N0390-002.A00LF though (tested with Raspbian “wheezy”) - mmc0 timeouts, waiting for hw int. I wouldn't recommend buying this card. Arrow 14 Jun 2012, J3rGuS 19 March 2013

Re: Kernel panic - not syncing : VFS: Unable to mount root f

I tried mmcblk0 and mmcblk0p6 instead of mmcblk0p2, but it fails the same way.

Re: Kernel panic - not syncing : VFS: Unable to mount root f

HI, I have the very same problem, but as I work with windows, I just can't modify the files once they've been written on the SD card. I will try on a Mac. Maybe is my card too big (16Gb)? Tried Android, Raspbian, Noob, and nothing worked. VFS: Cannot open root device "mmcblk0p2" or unknown...
