Re: Video streaming with delay

I was tasked with setting up a Raspberry Pi as a video streamer that was accessible from a webpage. I used UV4L and it is working with the expected 2-3 second delay. I was wondering if it was possible to purposely increase this delay to 20-30 seconds? For reference we are currently using a Pi 2B, b...

Re: No preview windows after installing uv4l

What I can tell is that uv4l does not have any effect on the preview window or on the programs using it if uv4l is not running, even if it is running but you do not access the device in any way.

Re: Picamera fetch video streaming

I'm pretty sure the problem is that two different process can't use the camera Exactly. so my question how could i manage to fetch the video if it streaming at the same time. There are three ways: 1. from your python scripts, get two "raw" streams from the UV4L HTTP(S) Streaming Server, one for use...

The error appears when using both my own private server url 192.168.1.197:8088 and also with the demo url https://janus.conf.meetecho.com ->> { "er...

I'm playing with uv4l for a while now in order to get an audio streaming rpi0 babymonitor online (no video, my grilfriend is against it :) , I use the dummy driver). Deploy the Janus Gateway in your server instead. UV4L supports Janus Videorooms. This should be:

RPI/UV4L <-> Janus Gateway <-> Web Browers.

I did configure the function start() at this line from:
ws = new WebSocket(protocol + '//' + server + '/stream/webrtc');
into:
ws = new WebSocket(protocol + '//' + server);
With that change probably you need to set server-option = --www-webrtc-signaling-path=/

After some investigation, I came to a Firefox technical note where they say this message could indicate that the server is using RC4 cipher which now is not supported anymore. Where can I have a look / modify the cipher suite my Rpi is using? (I have Jessie) The choosen cipher depends on the client...

How is it that you were able to remove the "software by http://linux.project.org" watermark from the video? There is no watermark for what the OP is doing. The watermark is only present when using some peculiar features of the Streaming Server like WebRTC and can be disabled for free - contact the ...

Is it possible to feed the camera a video from a local file ? i.e. make the camera "see" a custom video file instead of the actual capture? This is for testing purposes Maybe not from a file directly (yet), but UV4L provides a number of V4L2-compliant drivers for various virtual (or real) devices w...

That's exactly what I thought, as I'm used to coding in C/C++ but for some of the options mentioned above it does not seem to make any difference, which I thought was odd, and thought I should mention. note that not every commented out option in the config file has necessarily the same value as the...

Which code? There is no code copyrighted by Broadcom or Raspberry Pi "incorporated" in the UV4L packages or binaries.

Hi !
I want to implement an android app that can connect with the uv4l-WebRTC extension.
What application do you have in mind, a web application that you can run in the Android browser or a "native" WebRTC application (e.g. in C++ / Qt)?

black? You might need to skip the first frames? Check if you get any video from the streaming server web page in the first place.
