I thought there was a 2TB limit on NTFS drives under Raspbian?
I have managed to mount several 1TB, 1.5TB, 2TB drives, but I couldn't mount a 3TB drive, I thought for this reason.
Please educate me if I have a misunderstanding.

I see you are using NOOBS. Do you get this message before NOOBS tries to boot your OS?
If you remove the serial cable, does it then boot normally?
Try adding disablesafemode to the recovery.cmdline file in the recovery partition (/dev/mmcblk0p1).

Make sure you set all overscan settings to 0 in config.txt and then disable overscan. Minecraft should fit nicely in its window then.
I think this is a minecraft pi bug and they forgot to take account of overscan when positioning the overlay window.

You probably need to configure your Pi2 USB ports to output more current, as you are powering your 1TB USB drive directly from it. By default it is only 600mA.
To increase the total maximum current output to 1.2A, you need to edit /boot/config.txt and add the line:
max_usb_current=1

Noobs is a minimalist os installer, boot selection switcher and recovery program. To support ALL different wifi dongles with their associated wifi configurations would make it harder to maintain and more difficult to setup for a new user.
