Right now I have some sensitive files on my web server and i would just like to protect the whole server i have gone through the authentication from the appache website with no luck and multiple other tutorials with no luck is there a package i can install that will do this for me?

I did somemore digging and i think i made a mistake i have it to set port something to port something and currently i have it set at 22 to 22 does it need to change and my isp blocks port 80

Many ISP's block port 80 to prevent people from serving web sites. You may be able to get by that by using a non standard port like I did. You will have to append the port number to the URL. If you are sure your router is set up properly then use this tool to verify that the port is really open: ht...

I just got to school and went to check if my port forwarding worked and it didn't! Like my dad said I think that our router blocks trying to access stuff on the outside to the inside. I forwarded my raspberry pi's ips to both 22 and 80. 22 for remote desktop and 80 for my web server. The thing is it...

mine goes to a black screen and you can see the little monitor in the task bar nothing else eventualy times out and goes back to main screen im running it from a remote computer and going through anolog

i'm so excited for this project i will post images when im done. with it i got all the dvd componetns out and now i have to cut side for power usb ethernet and so forth and rearange wireing( make input cabels inside of the box) and then put stuff in it
