I have a few that seem to crash every few days, but my longest running pi is coming up to a year. I had it running for over a year b...

gawky and clumsy, but fascinating anyway. I guess he can now run it at 100GHz.

Of course when networking is configured you access it over the net via a web interface, like your home router box, or via ssh.

so did anything actually happen on pi day? Yep. A bunch of silly people who write their dates backwards (compared to EUR, JIS & ISO standards) fussed about the day of the month and the month of the year and got ever more silly at 9:26:53 on that same day. There was no mention this Saturday in the n...

Re: Hiss coming from Pi2

Not sure if this is related. 1: I have cheap USB powered speakers plugged in my pi 2b. Its audio input also goes in the pi. At any volume, there's a loud hiss which varies with CPU or drive activity. 2: Moving the USB that powers the cheap speakers from the pi to another power source reduces the noi...

So from what you're saying, Edison boots linux. How do you "see" its boot-up? How do you access it once it boots up?

Re: Raspberry Pi 2 USB hard drive and adapter tests posted

thanks interesting.
my pi B would crash if I transfer large files.

Here:
Pi B with SD card and a USB flash card.
I simply copy large files or many files from SD card to USB flash card and after a few minutes the system would go RO.
I've tried that with a USB hard drive too. same problem.
