Re: Is the Raspberry release going to affect iPad3 sales

A friend just bought an iPod and has graciously given the case to me for the containment of my RPi (just as soon as I can get one). I'll be naming it the (drum roll please):

PiPod (tm, copyright, copyleft, service mark, and patent pending)

Re: Root filesystem available to download

The torrent is working great. I finished the download in about 30 minutes. I don't have a Pi yet but I'm taking this home, dd'ing it to an SD and comparing it to my PowerPC debian 6.0.4 tonight.

Well, I might stop by Joe's for the live music and a Stoli or two first. ;^)

I'm downloading! Whoohoo. Unfortunately I'm currently on a work machine and can't leave it up for seeding at this time. But, thank you.

Re: Disagreements on these Forums

You all have convinced me that the first optional program I'll install on my Pi is fortune. You have further convinced me that it needs to be updated to handle video clips, ala:

#/usr/games/fortune -v -o -l

Re: How to Order

Hi Peter,

A)  Read the FAQ. It answers your question and probably the next few you have.

B)  Go to the front page and get on the mailing list. We are all still waiting

Re: Unofficial Raspberry Pi kits to be made availabne.

<t>I'd buy one! But only if you go the extra step and de-laminate the board into layers. Oh, and don't label the trace layers, let me guess. In fact, could you cut the traces up into short bits, I love a good puzzle.<br/> <br/> Why, when I was a DIY'er we'd go down to the local fab plant and ask for...

<t>You are standing at the end of a seemingly endless road. On a table lies a small circuit board. Around you is a forest of wires, cases, screens and keyboards.
