Re: OsmOse – a Sega Master System/Game Gear emulator, now po

From the OP, it looks like if you go to the directory that the Osmose binary is in, you can run: ./osmose -joy -joy1 2 -joy2 4 -joystart 11 filename.gg

And that should let you assign controls to your joypad.

Re: Reconfigure RetroPie

Did you run the full set up first? If not, you'll have to go into the RetroPie-Setup directory (cd RetroPie-Setup) and run sudo ./retropie_setup.sh If you have already done that, you just need to run "emulationstation" from your home directory. You don't need the "./" After you've run the set up, yo...

Get it from the Pi Store or the binaries from the homepage.

This is awesome. I'll give it a download when I get home. Thanks for the work.

Re: OsmOse – a Sega Master System/Game Gear emulator, now po

I don't believe Osmose is under the RetroArch banner, so modifying retroarch.cfg isn't going to have any effect on it. I think you need to go into the Osmose directory and look for a cfg file there.

Re: PiSNES released - Super Nintendo emulator

Is there a way to program a joypad combination to exit the emulator?
I'm playing with an SNES controller, so could I make select+start exit?

Re: [Tutorial] gpSP - Full Speed GBA Emulator with Sound and

I got it! Basically, I went to github on my Mac, copied the contents of your file, created an "input.c" file and put it in the proper directory, overwriting the one that was in there. When it was done, I ran "make" again, and it appeared to work. It didn't show any errors. So I put my gpsp_input.cfg...

Re: [Tutorial] gpSP - Full Speed GBA Emulator with Sound and

Ok, so I started over and I'm running into all sorts of problems that I don't know how to solve. So I download gpsp. I put the gba_bios.bin into the raspberrypi directory. Then I set my directory as RetroPie/emulators/gpsp I run "git pull https://www.github.com/Aloshi/gpsp.git" Then I set my directo...

Re: [Tutorial] gpSP - Full Speed GBA Emulator with Sound and

All right... I ran "make clean" and "make" anyway... And they SEEMED to work. But when I launch a ROM from the command line, the log file I get is the exact same as before.

I think it might just be time to dump everything and start over.

Re: [Tutorial] gpSP - Full Speed GBA Emulator with Sound and

Ok, here is the log I get when I run a rom directly from the terminal: audio: freq 22050, size 4096 game config missing That's all it says... Not sure if there should be more? Anyway, here is the gpsp_input.cfg I created: joyIndex = 0 axis_up = -1 axis_down = +1 axis_left = -0 axis_right = +0 btn_a ...

Re: [Tutorial] gpSP - Full Speed GBA Emulator with Sound and

Thanks, I'll try and do that when I get home later. In the meantime a couple questions that might help figure it out... Did I need to delete my old gpsp file before pulling your build? Does pulling the git or running the Makefile create a new one? Because I haven't messed with my original gpsp file ...

Re: [Tutorial] gpSP - Full Speed GBA Emulator with Sound and

Yeah, I just had to delete the Makefile and pull again, and then it worked. Ok so after running "make", I created a gpsp_input.cfg file and put it in the same directory as gpsp (RetroPie/emulators/gpsp/raspberrypi), but the controls I programmed in there don't seem to work. What did I miss? Do I nee...

Re: [Tutorial] gpSP - Full Speed GBA Emulator with Sound and

Thanks a ton for doing this. However, I still don't know exactly what I'm doing here... I pulled it from the git no problem, but I can't quite figure out how to run it. I tried sudo ./Makefile after I pulled it into my current gpsp directory. Then I tried sudo ./raspberrypi/Makefile and still...

Re: [Tutorial] gpSP - Full Speed GBA Emulator with Sound and

On my controller, the 'B' button is Start, and the 'X' button is A, off the top of my head. Start and Select do nothing. Also, as it's currently set up, there's no way to exit the emulator without a keyboard as far as I can tell. So I'm trying to get the controls aligned properly, and use the contro...

Re: [Tutorial] gpSP - Full Speed GBA Emulator with Sound and

Has anybody got this working well with a controller yet?
Where exactly do I go to change the button configuration? And is it possible to ode a button combination to exit the emu?

Sorry if this has been asked and answered, I just skimmed through and didn't understand much.

Re: RetroPie Setup - Auto-installer/updater for RetroArch ga

Sorry if this is already posted, but how do I zoom out in the emulator a little bit? Whenever I play SNES or NES games, the very top and bottom of the screen are cut off, so sometimes text and parts of the HUD are chopped off. I DGEN, for instance, the screen fits perfectly, and nothing is cut off. ...
