C++

Hey guys,

Can anybody recommend any good books for learning c++ from scratch? I Can program in Python and ruby and am looking to learn c++.

I have used Micro Sds with the PI before and will say one word ...DONT... They always get corrupted within hours and take ages to boot in my experience. Just dont!

Your pi will actually power the hub... If you intend to allow it you would need a good power supply, over 900.

Anybody got any ideas for a python project??? I have made a lottery generator, pin generator, prime and perfect number calculator, blackjack game, degrees to Fahrenheit converter, palindrome tester, password strength tester. Any ideas??? PLEASE!!!

From reading this I see you run OSX, guess you have a legit mac machine. I triple boot mac windows and Ubuntu on my mac, Linux has taught me so much. Personally from my experience with internet surfing on the Pi (despite what people may say) Chromium is by far the best on a fully overclocked Pi. To enable you tube simply install Gnash. (Flash alternative)
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get gnash-common
sudo apt-get gnash
